EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a
Plumber in our Hughes Network Systems division to assist engineers with the preventative and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems. This position will be located in our
Germantown, MD office.
Responsibilities:- Assist workers engaged in installation, repair, and service of plumbing systems.
- Ability to cut, bend, fit, thread and join piping and tubing practices.
- Manage temperature controls systems.
- Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
- Travel within the Germantown/Gaithersburg area to support our three (3) facilities in Montgomery County
- Core Hours M-F, 8 am - 5 pm; Be "On-Call" which rotates for one (1) week approximately every four (4) weeks
Requirements:- High School Diploma
- Journeyman Plumbing License
- 3-5 years of experience with knowledge of troubleshooting, service, and repair techniques to commercial plumbing fixtures
- Current valid driver's license.
Essential Qualifications:- Must have the ability to climb ladders
- Lift up to 60 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:- CFC Certified
- Service truck experience highly preferred
