Position Responsibilities
- Provide support for annual plan, monthly forecasts, and performance reporting for Engineering & Technology.
- Partnering with business to ensure accuracy for spend, headcount, and other key metrics based on operational performance.
- Support monthly results analysis and generate regular reporting - provide detail explanations for variances, and research open items.
- Update monthly metrics and scorecard metrics for quarterly executive meetings.
- Leading thoughtful analysis, proactively evaluating key drivers and metrics, and partnering on driving operational efficiencies and performance.
- Collaborating with the accounting team on accruals and other elements of the close process.
- Prepare insightful presentations for senior management to concisely summarize performance targets, forecasting and monitoring key spend areas to assist in optimizing margins and unit economics.
- Assist with and manage ad hoc projects to support senior management and business decisions.
Qualifications
- Finance, accounting, or related degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis.
- Demonstrated analytical and systems skills, and self-driven desire to investigate variance issues.
- Experience with corporate computerized budgeting/accounting systems and multi-dimensional database management tools.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
Compensation Information
The U.S. salary range for this position is $55500.00 - $83250.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
