Position Summary: The Nurse works under the supervision of the Director and is responsible for providing nursing care for assigned patients. The nurse performs assigned procedures that are within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited program for Nursing
- Current Iowa Nurse License
- Current BCLS certification
- Certification in NRP required within 12 months (offered through ORHC)
- Certification in PALS required for orientation to Pediatrics
- Course in basic fetal monitoring required within 12 months
- Prefer prior experience in Maternal Child Nursing or Medical/Surgical nursing, but not required.
