Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Monday to Friday, four days per week, 10-hour shifts (0700-1700). Rotating procedural and clinic schedule with a potential need for future 1:6 weekend rotation with 2 call shifts per week every 6 weeks. You will work at University Hospital and UPH-Meriter

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and outpatient care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Physician Assistant to:
- Be an active member of the cross functional team, by providing comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings at University Hospital and UnityPoint Health - Mertie.
- Manage pre & post procedure patients (ie cardiac ablations, device-based procedures, extractions, cardioversions, and implantable loop recorders). First assist with pacemaker device placements, generator replacements, ablation procedures, lead extractions, and lead revisions. Independently perform cardioversions, loop recorder implantations, and loop explants.
- Perform independent clinic visits (local and regional) for electrophysiology patients. Clinic locations (TBD)

Education:
Minimum -
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Masters from Accredited PA program
Licenses and Certifications:
If Physician Assistant:
* Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND
* Active PA board certification
Physician Assistant applicants must have:
* Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
