MRI Technologist

Compensation: $1,600 - $2,200 weekly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to create diagnostic images and ensure accurate results for medical evaluation.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to all safety regulations concerning the use of magnetic and radio waves.
- Manage scheduling to accommodate patient appointments while maximizing the use of the machine.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure MRI equipment is functioning correctly and report malfunctions as required.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret image data.
- Update patient records with accurate information following each procedure.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge regarding MRI technology and procedure advancements.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State license to practice radiologic technology if applicable.
- At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Proficiency with a variety of MRI equipment brands and models.
- Strong understanding of imaging software and electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a hospital or high-volume clinical setting.
- Additional certifications related to magnetic resonance imaging.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret imaging results.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle a high level of responsibility and prioritize tasks.
- Experience working on independent contracts with high flexibility and adaptability.
