JOB OVERVIEW
The FP&A Business Analyst is responsible for the business analytics and process support for variable incentive plans, improve current reporting processes and make proposals of profitable business decisions that are based on data, analytics, and insights. This position supports the stakeholders with analytics and financial statistics for variable incentive and local incentive plans, provides input on the design, coordinates efforts across business lines gathering the data for validation and calculation of the plan for the final payout. Provides detailed information about business performance, detects inefficiencies in coordination with plan owners, eliminates inefficiencies in processes, and supports prioritizing improvement initiatives. FP&A Business Analyst has a key role in better data-based decision-making and driving improvements in analytics capabilities across the company.

The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying issues, establishing facts, and drawing well-supported conclusions. They demonstrate a deep proficiency in complex analysis, effectively processing large volumes of information with precision and attention to detail. Their conceptual thinking enables them to recognize patterns and generate models that explain relationships between data. They are skilled communicators, able to collaborate across functions in a global environment, and show adaptability to changing requirements while continuously learning. With a holistic understanding of various analytical methods and tools, they proactively seek out information to fill gaps and pursue innovative approaches to challenges. The candidate can work in a hybrid model, spending two days remote and three days onsite in Lisle, IL.
JOB DUTIES:
- Support definition of business measures for plan designs establishing the end-to-end process for payout on an annual basis. Develop them and drive their implementation.
- Design and develop data visualizations and dashboards.
- Make and communicate conclusions and recommendations based on findings from analyses.
- Drive development and implementation of analytics capabilities in KONE.
- Provide trainings, work with financial, operations and sales to develop advanced analytics capabilities.
- Understand data requirements and availability, how it impacts and limits possibilities in analytics.
- Act as the coordinator and key contact point between business stakeholders and specialized advanced analytics teams, ensuring that business needs are collected, defined, and prioritized, and that provided analyses fulfill the business needs.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of business experience, preferably within Finance, Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Language Fluency: English required. French and/or Spanish a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or similar field.
