Senior Financial Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
The FP&A Sr. Analyst reports directly to the Director of Operations Finance and works closely with the business development and plant managers. The position will play a key role in supporting the annual budgeting process, monthly operations forecast, variance analysis and special projects. S/he will analyze and summarize actual vs plan reporting and explain the underlying drivers. S/he will support the plant leadership by providing updates to customer pricing models, plant capacity models, reporting of key metrics of plant performance. S/he will identify and propose process improvements and participate in reporting enhancements. S/he will work along with all members of the organization, ensuring a collaborative inter-departmental working environment.
Senior Financial Analyst Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- BA/BS in Accountancy, Finance or other business discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with BA/BS or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
- Ability to identify, collect, and analyze information from multiple sources.
- Advanced ability to effectively present complex finance related information both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
- In depth ability to use Excel and database software tools to gather information for specialized, complex financial analysis and financial reports.
- Advanced interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization; advanced service orientation and critical thinking skills; and attention to detail. In depth ability to use organizational skills to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to function as a member of a team.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- This position operates in an office environment located within a manufacturing facility and perform work in different elements of the operation including the production operation environment.
