Position: Senior Tax Accountant

Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Tax Accountant at Paradigm Oral Health, you will be integral to our financial operations, focusing on tax compliance and reporting. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
- Financial Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between Paradigm and external tax advisors.
- Tax Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of tax implications for business transactions, acquisitions, and other corporate activities.
- Journal Entries: Generate and post journal entries related to tax provisions and deferred taxes.
- Tax Audits: Assist in the preparation for and response to tax audits, gathering necessary documentation and information.
- Tax Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare accurate and timely tax provisions for monthly and annual financial statements.
- Research: Stay updated on tax law changes and assess their impact on the organization.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing tax processes and reporting efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide tax guidance and support for various initiatives.
- Advisory Support: Provide tax-related insights for financial planning and strategic decisions.
Education and Experience
- Degree: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of tax experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of corporate tax principles and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel; experience with Netsuite and tax software is a plus.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and assess tax implications.
