Objectives:
Responsible for leading the site internal audit program. Overall site lead for external audits and health authority inspections. Participates in site compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and maintains the annual site internal audit plan.
- Conducts internal audits according to the approved plan.
- Issues audit agendas and reports per standard procedures.
- Provides support to other auditors participating in internal audits.
- Leads site inspection readiness activities.
- Forward facing during external audits and inspections.
- Tracks audit CAPAs, reviews, and closes CAPAs.
- Maintains required paper documentation and CATSWeb records.
- Assists in various compliance initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate and work well with others, good oral and written skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to perform under pressure and work without supervision.
- Ability to trouble-shoot analytical tests and develop protocols.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess basic math skills.
- 4 year college degree in a scientific discipline or a combination of education and experience.
