Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion, and understanding. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting tests and recording medical histories
- Providing treatments and assisting physicians
- Enhancing public awareness on the importance of health
- Prescribing medications
Per-Diem opportunity to work in urgent care setting. Minimum 2 years' experience working in urgent care setting preferred. Must work at minimum one Saturday/month 8am-2pm.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING:
- MSN with specialization as an ARNP
- Licensed in the State of Kansas as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- BLS certification, upon hire and maintained current
- One to two years of experience as a practitioner in a surgical practice preferred
- Previous experience with electronic health record.
