Responsibilities
We are seeking a Cardiac Care Nurse (Days), internally referred to as our Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse (RN) at Saint John Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare. The Cardiac Nurse plays a critical role in attending to patients with heart conditions, cardiac issues, and associated illnesses, providing tailored care to enhance recovery and improve quality of life.
Bonus Options: Up to a $20,000 (Paid out as stipends every 90 days)

If you have experience as a Registered Nurse in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Critical Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiac Care, or Emergency Department, you are encouraged to apply!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Monitor patient's cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs and cardiac medications.
- Perform assessments of patient's cardiac status, including physical assessments and evaluation of symptoms.
- Provide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions and treatment plans.
- React promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias and cardiac arrests.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
