As part of our National Finance & Administration Services department, you’ll help manage the critical resources and infrastructure that keep ALDI running smoothly. Your insights and skills will help every department make smarter decisions and ensure our retail divisions and executive leadership receive the support they need to run a successful operation. Within Finance, our teams include: Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Tax and Treasury.

Starting Salary: $95,000
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $100,000 | Year 3 - $105,000

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Serves as a key financial planning contact for divisional vice presidents and corporate cost center owners, developing monthly profit & loss forecasts and annual budgets.
- Reviews, understands and incorporates local business impacts and communicates the consolidated business story to senior leadership.
- Identifies and maintains forecast processes and models for a rapidly changing business; understands business challenges, proposes and supports solutions.
- Partners directly with divisional and corporate leadership to translate financial information to non-financial users and support strategic recommendations.
- Understands and applies macro and micro-economic and other market impacts to business development, communicates with management appropriately.
- Reviews financial results, researches variances to forecast and budget, identifies exceptions, inconsistencies and actionable opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinates and completes monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to support leadership, Board meetings, and decision-making at the US and global levels.
- Evaluates financial projections to forecast short and long-term operational liquidity needs, making short-term investment decisions and recommending debt issuance, repayment, and restructuring decisions to senior leadership.
- Completes ad hoc data analysis, projects, and financial models as needed by the business.
- Assists leadership with rollouts of large-scale projects, including the annual budget and target-setting processes.
- Identifies, develops and maintains effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Analyzes working procedures to identify and implement best practices.
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required.
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
- Proficiency with SAP/Analysis For Office preferred.
- Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
- Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
