WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Billing Specialist at CPI, your responsibilities will include:
- Service Call Review: Carefully review service calls to determine the appropriate billing charges, considering contract terms, payment status, and work performed.
- Warranty Verification: Verify the warranty status of previous repairs and incorporate this information into the billing process.
- Accurate Data Entry: Ensure the accurate and timely entry of billing information into our billing system.
- Issue Resolution: Address any billing discrepancies, customer inquiries, or concerns professionally and promptly.
- Billing Documentation: Maintain organized billing documentation and records for reference and auditing purposes.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports to track billing activities, outstanding invoices, and payment status.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Sales, and Accounting, to ensure seamless billing operations.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or a related field.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is essential for accurately reviewing service calls and billing documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret contract terms and warranty information.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain billing records efficiently.
