About the opportunity
As a key role within the Global Services team, you’ll be responsible for helping to better define and scale our world class Tax Services offerings as a competitive differentiator. In addition, you will strategically influence our commercially viable offerings through product, process, and structural designs of the tax organization. Collaborating across the end-to-end tax organization, your experience, insight and understanding of Ceridian capabilities will ensure you are relied on by leaders to drive customer value.
What you'll get to do
- Evaluate and translate the current capabilities into a progress product roadmap with the aim of leapfrogging our competitors.
- Research and leverage expert knowledge of various technologies, tax agency requirements, and operations techniques to enable Tax Services to be a thought leader in driving efficiency and automation. This involves recommending, documenting, testing, and executing upon operations initiatives.
- Assist in establishing organizational key performance indicators (KPI’s) that can be used for collateral in the sales cycle, as well as team performance.
- Drive deep data analytics to unlock key findings that will influence the strategic initiatives for the business.
- Heavily involved in driving customer advocacy by increasing the number of customers willing to act as a referral of Ceridian services. This will be accomplished by engaging with the current customer community to understand needs and create value-oriented enhancements and services.
- Drive improvements in our commercial offerings in creative and effective ways with a strong focus, and direct impact, on increasing recurring revenue.
- Create a formal network cross functionally to drive a streamlined operation that is designed to scale and expand overall tax margins.
- Recommend and initiate additional revenue for Tax Services and the organization.
Skills and Experience we value
- Strong understanding of end-to-end technology used to calculate payroll taxes and remit filings and deposits.
- Bachelor’s Degree in similar business field, and/or 5-years minimal management experience in payroll tax.
- Strong negotiation techniques and experience with dispute resolution work.
- Versatile communication skills, effective in communicating with C-suite to front line employees.
- Strong problem-solving technique and execution.
- Technology minded with an operational focus.
- Strong understanding of SaaS contract terms and their intended commercial application.
- Unique experience either working for or interacting with tax agencies.
