Conduct assignments in accordance with policies, standards, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan, schedule, organize, manage, conduct and report results of quality assurance audits, surveillances, and commercial grade surveys of nuclear station and supplier programs, procedures and processes for conformance and compliance with regulatory requirements, license basis documents, station policies, and industry codes and standards.
- Document deficient and adverse conditions, provide recommendations for resolution, and verify corrective actions are adequate and effective.
- Provide written and verbal results to organization supervisors, managers, and executive level management.
- Support maintenance of the Quality Assurance Program documents and procedures.
- Periodically participate in the Nuclear Industry Evaluation Program.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or 6 years equivalent nuclear related work experience in area of technical expertise.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
- ANSI N45.2.23/NQA1 Lead Auditor Certification with 5 years nuclear audit experience preferred.
- Knowledge of nuclear safety/quality related activities.
- Knowledge of nuclear plant structures, systems and components.
- Knowledge and understanding of nuclear regulations, codes, standards.
- Travel required.
- Qualified NUPIC Lead Auditor preferred; Qualified NEI Lead Auditor preferred.
- ASQ Quality Auditor Certification preferred; ASQ Quality Engineer Certification preferred.
- ASNT -TC-1A/CP-189 Certifications preferred.
- ANSI N45.2.6 Inspection, Examination, and Testing Certifications preferred.
Compensation dependent on experience and skills.
