HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Responsible for complex tasks in various program financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
- Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business review to provide insight into business.
- Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.
- Prepare financials for monthly close and forecasting process.
- Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and out-year projections.
- Be the financial subject matter expert for the program management team to rely on.
- Develop long-range financial models in collaboration with the program management team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.
- Provide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.
- Manage revenue and cost adjustment submission, ensuring accuracy and review of proper backup information.
- Collaborate across organizations/functions including program management, contracts, billing, HR and other internal departments.
- Potential to interact and act as financial liaison between GDIT and other GDIT managed affiliates.
- Monitor and assess financial impact changes of Indirect rates, rate pools, and allocations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or 4+ additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Required 8+ years of related financial analysis experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically proficient Excel skills is required.
- Must have experience and understanding of various government contract types and corresponding financial impacts for each.
- Security Clearance Level: Secret required.
- US Citizenship.
- Location: Hybrid--MUST be able to go into the Herndon office a few times a week.

- Oracle Financials and Oracle EPM.
