Your opportunity:
- Conduct research independently to formulate investment recommendations on individual securities within a dedicated sector of coverage. Careful consideration should be given to forecasted growth, competitive positioning, quality of financial reporting and management.
- Construct models to generate pertinent questions that need to be answered in the research process, determine critical drivers and forecast future revenue, earnings and cash flows.
- Provide a selection of the best risk adjusted total return global securities, with a focus on downside protection.
- Undertake research visits/meetings to formulate and extend deep industry expertise, including contact with competitors, customers, suppliers and other relevant constituents.
- Compile and communicate research findings with Portfolio Managers through written notes, reports, and presentations.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong security picking skills, with a proven track record of adding value.
- Strong modeling skills required. Need to be proficient in building and maintaining financial models to forecast future revenue, earnings, and cash flows.
- 5+ years credit research analyst experience preferably on the buy side, or a combination of buy and sell side.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong creativity, initiative and drive.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate articulately, concisely and persuasively.
- Ability to work and make decisions independently as well as function effectively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance and accounting.
- Deep understanding of fixed income markets.
- Commitment to doing whatever it takes to build the business.
Nice to have skills:
- Post-graduate degree such as MBA, and CFA and/or CPA helpful.
- Advanced MS Word, Excel, Bloomberg and internet skills.
- Experience working with Tableau and LLM models a plus.
- Prior experience covering Consumer and/or Industrials sector(s) a plus.
Investment areas:
- Has responsibility for supporting portfolios within The Fixed Income research team.

Compensation information:
The base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $215,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be posted until September 27, 2024.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
