Financial Analyst

RE/MAX LLC is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. The purpose of this position is to prepare monthly financial forecasts and detailed annual budgets through collaboration and relationship building across the organization, to help drive financial accountability and understanding. Additionally, this Financial Analyst will be responsible for the monthly analysis and reporting of revenue and expense variances. Other responsibilities will include ad hoc analyses and support of the FP&A department and Executive Leadership.
Essential Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and the detailed annual budgeting process
- Create effective business relationships across the organization through monthly financial meetings and reporting
- Work cross-functionally across multiple teams and systems to collect relevant forecast/budget data
- Analyze and report on financial performance, with the ability to call out key results and areas of risks and opportunities
- Guide revenue and cost analysis and provide recommendations
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the ongoing financial performance for all areas of the organization
- Develop complex financial returns models and analysis
- Maintain templates and reports within the online planning software and assist with the development of new templates and reports as needed
- Assist with preparation of presentations (internal & external) of financial results
- Communicate financial data in reports, narratives and through visual representations
- Ad hoc projects as deemed necessary by executive leadership
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst and/or financial reporting role or applicable internship experience
- Detailed understanding of financial statements and GAAP accounting with the ability to analyze the components thereof
- Tableau experience a plus
- Presentable, confident speaker
- Fluent in Excel formulas and functions, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be a team player
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
Salary Range:
$55,000 - $67,000
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
