The Senior Accountant role will serve as the backbone of the Finance & Accounting organization, helping develop and execute crucial accounting processes and policy aligned with US GAAP and US Government Contract Accounting (i.e., FAR regulations). The Senior Accountant will manage key financial statement areas including Revenue Recognition, Inventory Valuation, Fixed Assets, Stock-based Compensation, and Lease Accounting, as well as research technical accounting guidance, presenting both conclusions and financial-statement impact to management and auditors. This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller with daily interactions across Operations and frequent updates with the VP of Finance and COO.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA preferred. Master's Degree in Accounting is a plus.
- 3 - 7 years of experience in Accounting.
- Heavy manufacturing or industrial background is preferred.
- Big Four public accounting experience is a plus.
- US government contract accounting experience is a plus.
- Must have experience with NetSuite or similar ERP environment.
- Advanced skills required in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
