Vaco Staffing is searching for an Accounting Manager for a client in Sheboygan Falls, WI. This is a direct hire role with our client.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the payroll accounting for and execution of payroll related transactions.
- Responsible for payable and receivable team members and reviewing credit.
- Managing the banking interface of day-to-day transactions.
- Oversight of Treasury Management for US operation, including all cash and investment activity.
- Responsible for month-end processes including the review and approval of monthly journal entries and accruals, review and approval of financial statements, balance sheets reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assists with the pre-audit requests.
- Handle Standard Cost process and all related general ledger activity. This includes interfaces, reporting, and profitability analysis.
- Complete month-end and year-end analysis of manufacturing costs.
- Supervise monthly analysis of inventory.
- Participate in the annual operating budget process including the following.
- Back-up Corporate Controller as needed.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of supervisory finance experience, with experience related to financial reporting, budgeting, resource allocation processes, and long-term strategic planning.
- Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to see projects to completion and ensure accuracy and precision.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP, and Power BI.
