Mission
This position "EcoStruxure IT Pre-Sales & Software Renewals Consultant" is responsible for providing Software Solution, Products, and Services Consultancy to Partners & Customers. Most importantly, this role ensures the successful closure of Software Sales Opportunities for all EcoStruxure IT Core Products and Services. In addition, this role will assist in closing Software Maintenance Support Contracts of Data Center Expert, ITA / DCO software, and NetBotz used by existing customers.
The job scope of EcoStruxure IT Pre-Sales & Software Renewals Consultant is to create a Quarterly Pipeline of New Sales Opportunities by identifying in BFO / BFS / Entitlements Portal. Reach out to In-Country Sales Account Manager / Channels Account Manager / Software Sales BDM/Sales and understand the needs of the customer.
Further, meet Partner / Customer Online along with Sales, collect Customer requirements information, and understand customer's Challenges, Concerns, Pain Points, etc.
Update BFO Opportunity with collected information/data. Inform EcoStruxure IT Software Solution Engineer to create DCIM / SaaS Solution Design, floor layout, Network Architecture, BOM, Implementation MS Project Plan, and UAT script.
Follow up on every Opportunity, In-progress / won / lost / delayed - update in BFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Quarterly Pipeline of Software Customer Data Extract from BFO/BFS, Oracle, SAP, and other Software systems.
- Validate and consolidate SW Customers and upload into BFO as Pipeline of new Sales Opportunities.
- Daily meetings with In-Country Sales / Account Manager, run through Opportunity Pipeline list, meet customers/partners, and understand customer needs and expectations.
- Work with SW Sales BD & Sales team on Proposal preparation & submission.
- Region coverage: India & MEA.
- Additional responsibilities: Submission of SW Renewal Contract quotations to Partner / End Customer for small and medium customers. Call/send email to Existing Customers with expired SW Maintenance Contracts, reminding them to renew.
- Provide scope of Renewal of Software Maintenance Contracts.
- Provide Software Solution to migrate old versions to new versions & value-added services.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTSEducation3 Year Diploma / 3 Year Degree
CertificationCandidate with ITSM / DCIM Certification will be an added advantage.
Job-related Experience3-5 years of Software Solution Selling and Consulting Skills, Knowledge, and experience in Salesforce system to work on opportunities & customer retention. Technically sound, commercially savvy. Added advantage if the candidate has knowledge and experience on Data Center UPS, Cooling, Power Distribution, DCIM monitoring, and operation solutions, IT industry, and background in Technical Software solutions.
Technical Experience- Knowledge of SE EcoStruxure IT Software, StruxureWare Data Center Expert & Data Center Operation software. Understand the functional and operations of Monitoring and Operation software.
- Good understanding of general LAN/WAN internetworking (Firewall, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc).
- Good understanding of Salesforce system, Oracle application, InTouch System, MS Office, Excel Spreadsheet Pivot Table customer data consolidation knowledge.
- Prepare Proposal & Quotation using MS Office applications.
- Creation of Software Maintenance Contract Value Proposition.
- Working Knowledge of MS Visio, Process Workflow, and Methodology.
LanguageSpeak and write English. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
