REGISTERED NURSE
Job Summary
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. They function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care. The RN participates in activities to achieve clinical, financial, and organizational outcomes.
Minimum Education Requirements: Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
Minimum Experience: For specialty areas, related experience and additional qualifications may be required.
Other Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of nursing process, social, behavioral, and biological sciences normally acquired via approved nursing program. Able to provide age and culturally specific care to the population served. Ability to analyze data, synthesize and summarize information, and make judgments regarding patient care.
Equipment/Software/Certification/License: MA RN license and BLS.
