TBS Clinical Supervisor
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Program Manager, clinical TBS supervisors are responsible for the coordination and approval of clinical services of the Therapeutic Behavioral Services coaches, overseeing coaches to deliver appropriate and ethical mental health services and interventions in accordance with county contracts, targeted goals and New Haven's standards, procedures, and practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct functional assessments, analyze information, and evaluate new cases and/or revise treatment plans when necessary, in accordance with county and agency requirements and practices.
- Distribute referred cases to coaches in accordance with program objectives and goals, assuring that parents, program liaisons, and coaches receive quality customer service and timely follow up regarding assignment, treatment needs, and progress of services.
- Schedule and supervise coaches for delivery of services, developing and overseeing intervention strategies as needed and as determined by the plan documents and analyses, to ensure that all services are effective, appropriate, professional, documented, delivered, and within program requirements/guidelines.
- Oversee training and performance of coaches, coordinating meetings and approving documentation of all treatment case notes and administration functions associated with related recordkeeping (billings, timesheets, performance appraisals) in accordance with New Haven administrative processes and procedures as well as contracted county & governmental guidelines.
- Coordinate and conduct weekly clinical supervision of active coaches, securing educational and clinical oversight and control initiatives for high standards of quality to all services.
- Liaison with New Haven staff, other treatment team members, parents, etc. to maintain professional and positive relations and to market our TBS service as indicated, additionally utilizing and reviewing customer satisfaction surveys to evaluate program successes and/or concerns.
- Work with Riverside County TBS Liaison and LA County TBS Liaison in the areas of service authorizations, audits, weekly service report (Riverside), quarterly service report (Riverside), trainings (as assigned) and Quarterly meetings (Riverside, as assigned).
- Participate in interviewing and hiring of coaches as needed.
- Provide other administrative and/or supervisory responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Required: Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, PsyD, LMFT, LPCC) Psychology, or related discipline and at least 2 years of experience working with youth and their families; supervision experience is required. Superior verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to analyze complex math and to deliver effective training/supervisory discussions. Ability to supervise, educate, and motivate a professional group of coaches with varying levels of clinical experience required as well as the ability to interact well with others, understanding and following rules and directions from supervisor. Must be able to accept constructive criticism and to contribute to an environment free of harassment and without unlawful discrimination. Must be able to work under stress. Must also possess a vehicle and have a demonstrated safe driving history to travel within counties relative to case assignments.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
