Overview
The Finance Support Analyst is responsible for analyzing, testing, and documenting financial processes and systems. The individual is expected to understand and learn different aspects of the business and how it translates into data to ensure processes are accurately and thoroughly documented. Must be able to liaise with technical and non-technical users across different teams to understand the business’ internal processes and system requirements.

Responsibilities
- Prepares process documentation and participates in training sessions for end users
- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation
- Performs analysis and documentation of finance-related processes and workflows
- Helps to gather, analyze, and clean up data to ensure alignment with system requirements
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures that comply with company and legal regulations
- Assists in resolving problems and day-to-day operational needs, often completing a variety of tasks in addition to those listed within these responsibilities as necessary for efficient operations
- Conducts ad hoc analysis, special projects, and support in various areas as assigned

Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek Vision or VantagePoint accounting software preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly VLOOKUPs, PIVOTs, and SUMIF formulas required for this role
- 3+ years’ experience analyzing system functionality working in a professional business environment
- Experience with process documentation is highly preferred
