As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes by accurately and efficiently managing the company's inventory accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining financial accuracy.
What You’ll Do:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments via check or ACH.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and ensure timely responses.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with NetSuite and Bill.com systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is desirable.
Additional Details:
- This is a full-time non-exempt position headquartered in Denver, Colorado. 1 to 2 days in the office.
- Targeted compensation range for this role: $27-$30/hour, dependent upon experience.
