About the Role:
Leads a centralized portfolio servicing team responsible for management of risk associated with a large SBA commercial loan portfolio which includes diverse loan products. Responsible for early risk identification through effective monitoring of individual loan and portfolio performance. Responsible for management or escalation of issues identified, depending on severity. May also manage support functions for Centralized Portfolio Services. Direct timely and accurate completion of credit authorizations, commitment letters, and other work products.
- Leads SBA commercial loan monitoring activities designed to identify assess, and recognize risk, which may include and/or directly impact, performance-based loan monitoring, risk-based loan monitoring, annual term loan reviews, management of the annual term loan review cycle, financial statement collection, and data integrity and reporting activities.
- Timely identifies and actively manages loan level risk utilizing team resources. Utilizes sound judgment to determine when escalation is appropriate depending on severity.
- Negotiates servicing credit actions, identifies solutions and makes decisions within delegated credit authority.
- Manages escalations of customer impacting servicing issues related to loan payments, taxes and insurance.
- Manages cyclical functions as well as large projects with agility, utilizing team and resources effectively.
- Develops and manages related processes and procedures, required technological tools for analysis, reporting, and department support.
- Creates, manages, and maintains controls to ensure the highest quality standards in systems, reporting, and support.
- Identifies, hires, manages performance, motivates, and retains/attracts top talent.
- Actively collaborates and partners across bank divisions including Commercial Banking, Loan Servicing Support, Credit Quality, Special Assets, Accounting, Data Integrity and misc. audit partners. Regular contact with Senior and Regional Management across Commercial Banking.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or related field or equivalent work experience. (Required)
- More than 10 years of relevant banking, risk management, accounting and/or technology related experience. (Required)
- 2-4+ years Supervisory/Management experience (Required)
- Experience developing, modifying, and executing guidelines and procedures that directly affect divisional success and may have potential for company-wide impact.
- Proven ability to regularly interact with senior management on matters concerning department’s functional areas, other divisions and/or customers.
- Advanced skill level with personal computers and related software packages such as Excel, Access, Word and other business machines.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong accounting, balancing, financial statement and cash flow analysis experience.
- High level knowledge of commercial real estate analysis and review.
- Previous management experience in a field relevant to this position.
- Proven ability to appropriately handle and possess direct approval authority.
- Experience managing and developing others and ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to change course (adaptable) at a moment’s notice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to train and present in matters relevant to this position.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $94,000.00 to $165,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
