Provides operational support to the Premium Finance Company, which may include processing of auto insurance premium finance loan payments, loan account maintenance, funding of loans, and settlement of Premium Finance contracts.
- Logs and processes payments returned for non-sufficient funds
- Logs and processes credit card payments disputed by customers
- Processes loan amendments related to insurance policy premium changes
- Reverses returned payments from insurance Premium Finance contracts and voids accounts as required
- Ensures auto insurance policies are cancelled timely when Premium Finance contracts are cancelled due to non-payment of premium
- Adjusts premium finance accounts as required to reflect changes in auto insurance premiums
- Sends correspondence to customers as required to collect unpaid balances on auto insurance premium policies
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in insurance, banking, finance, or consumer loan industries required
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced setting, work under pressure, and meet required deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in office/hybrid setting depending on the role hired
