Salary: $95,000 to $115,000 with flexibility based on academic and professional experiences and credentials

Nature of Work:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The Accounting Manager will oversee all financial operations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role will manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial reporting processes, providing leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, gifts processing, and payroll.
- Develop and maintain effective accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Manage the organization's financial software systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, ensuring annual talent reviews and goal setting.
- Work with the Vice President, Controller to identify development opportunities and address performance issues.
- Utilize the Microsoft suite of tools for financial analysis and presentations.
- Collaborate with other departments for financial insights and support for initiatives.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.
Knowledge or Skills:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of five to seven years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in financial software systems such as Sage Intacct and Salesforce.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Arizona Community Foundation.
Other Requirements:
- Proven experience with project management.
- Skilled in data and process analysis for process and automation improvements.
