Under general supervision, is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and technical functions related to monitoring, operating and maintaining the fuel storage dispensing and replacement program and car wash facilities. Working conditions are inside and outside with exposure to temperature variations and hazardous materials. Exercises no supervision.

Responsibilities
- Maintains the functionality of the fuel storage system and car wash facilities.
- Assists with the monitoring of fuel storage system, including fuel inventories and tank levels of all fuel sites.
- Assists with creating purchase orders; orders fuel, schedules replenishment of fuel site inventory and maintains fuel site records.
- Schedules, performs and coordinates preventative maintenance on all fuel related equipment.
- Responds to system malfunctions and troubleshoot employee access to system.
- Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions. Provide corrective maintenance or coordinate with equipment vendors to correct and/or repair fuel system and car wash systems.
- Assists with site inspections and compliance with all state and federal mandated laws and regulations.
- Maintains authorized employee listings and updates the terminal database software.
- Monitors fuel site testing for leaks and reports discrepancies noted to Management.
- Prepares and submits various reports to Management.
- Utilizes proper safety precautions and procedures related to work performed.
- Troubleshooting, maintenance and inspecting generally requires sitting, standing, reaching, stooping, twisting, kneeling and walking and may frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency).
- Six (6) months of experience in the operation and maintenance of fuel storage and computerized dispensing systems.
- Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of troubleshooting procedures and the ability to evaluate fuels and carwash equipment for maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs of fuel storage and dispensing equipment and ability to oversee and evaluate contracted maintenance and repair vendors.
- Knowledge of maintenance record keeping and fuel ordering procedures.
- Ability to perform detailed safety and serviceability inspections of fuels and carwash facilities.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to fuels and carwash facilities.
