We are seeking a Sr. Acquisition Analyst to support our DHA Government client's contract execution, serve as a liaison interfacing with Government contracting offices and officials, ensuring timely execution and obligation of funding actions and preparing procurement packages.
The scope of this Task Order includes the following functions and activities in support of the government client:
- Support the acquisition decision-making process of the organization by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed acquisition plans. Conduct market analysis, prepare economic analysis, coordinate solutions and ensure an acquisition complies with applicable laws and procedures.
- Assist in the acquisition planning, including documentation, briefings, and solicitation documents.
- Draft and prepare required documents (e.g. Memoranda, Purchase Request (PRs), acquisition strategy documents, performance work statements, procedures, spreadsheets, briefs, etc.). This support shall include the assistance to Government personnel in analysis of those requirements and coordination of required actions throughout DHA.
- Draft performance work statements in detail to delineate the requirement to the contracting office in the proper format as required.
- Assist in preparation of acquisition packages. Support development of various documents necessary for the package preparation including but not limited to Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Plan, Pricing Sheet, COR nomination letter, DD254 Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, and Performance Statement of Work. Ensure an acquisition complies with applicable laws and procedures.
- Facilitate required meetings and forums to provide the stakeholders with increased visibility of planned acquisition activities, and to ensure test-related risks and issues are efficiently communicated & effectively mitigated.
Required:- BS degree and 10+ years of experience
- Government contract execution experience to include strong understanding of DOD financial regulations and processes
- US Citizenship
- Eligibility for Secret Clearance
- Foster partnering relationships to accomplish the mission and ability to work well with all personnel internal and external to the organization
Highly Desirable:- DHA experience
- Experience with Ektropy system and GFEBS
- Experience working with Spend Plans and monitoring financial execution is beneficial
