Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the operations of accounting and finance for the organization.

- Proactively coordinate all activities of the financial operations team.
- Review and approve journal entries ensuring accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and dashboards.
- Review and analyze monthly actual to budget variances.
- Provide oversight and leadership for all accounting and finance compliance filings, including 990s, Medicare Cost Reports, and Federal Grant Awards.
- Prepare financial forms and supporting schedules for the Federal Grant, including quarterly and annual FFRs.
- Manage the annual 403b plan audit.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
- Coordinate and lead the oversight of the 403b Retirement Plan Committee.
- Review account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Lead internally and collaborate with external audit vendor on annual audited financial statements.
- Supervise and develop accounting staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supervising assigned staff.
Work Environment
Primary environment is home office, administrative office, or clinical office. This role requires regular walking. This role may encounter patients who may have contagious illnesses.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Travel Requirements
Must have the ability to travel between MCC sites in the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro area.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum three years accounting or finance experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationships with others.
- Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- CMA/CPA certificate preferred.
- Three plus years prior experience supervising a team.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Demonstrated success in working effectively with target population(s).
- Change Agile; ability to operate in the gray and flex to new developments or situations.
- Experience working in a multi-site environment is highly desired.
