ABOUT THE ROLE
As Sr. Associate, Sales Analysis, you will play an integral role in the success of the Kroger sales team by analyzing data into actionable insights which will have a direct impact on the S.C. Johnson business. You will have significant cross-functional interaction with the Kroger sales team, customer marketing, finance, product supply, and sales operations. In addition, there will be opportunities to interface with Kroger buying staff to deliver insights that will drive business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supporting 2 businesses (Home Cleaning - Windex, Pledge, Drano, Shout/Fantastik, etc., and Home Storage – Ziploc)
- Analysis of point of sale, channel facts, consumer facts, and related consumer research to improve base/promotional business
- Utilize multiple sources of data for analysis, including IRI, 84.51, Stratum, Market 6, customer Point of Sale/Downstream Data
- Promotional analysis and Forecasting facilitation with account teams and sales management
- Prepare and present to the customer information that adds value to the sales call.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Technical Skills:
- 1 year of sales or analyst work experience
- Knowledge of sales tools preferred, i.e., proficiency in IRI/Stratum/Market 6/Kroger Data Systems
- Proficient within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data to mine insights
Leadership Skills:
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
- Solid communications skills, both oral and written
- Ability to adapt to changing work and customer demands
Strategic Impact:
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to bring together actionable conclusions from multiple data sources
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Full-time onsite role in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio SCJ office
- Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees
- This role is not eligible for relocation
