About the Role
As an AP Specialist, you will perform the AP Analyst role while providing value-added tasks to the team and your direct line manager. Your main objective will be to ensure the timely and efficient posting of invoices and credit notes. You will also manage disputes, reconcile vendor accounts, support new team members, and assist the Team Leader with balance sheet proposals.
What You'll Do
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
- Perform invoice and general ledger data entry.
- Conduct ageing accounts review and follow-up.
- Execute vendor account reconciliation.
- Create and maintain vendor accounts.
- Track, query, and resolve disputes.
- Follow up with new joiners to ensure they understand and perform their activities.
- Support the Team Leader with MEC closing activities.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Vocational training in Finance and Accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Proficiency with common office equipment.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
- Clear communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and other local/regional languages.
- Willingness to embrace change.
- Ability to work under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining social, ethical, and organizational standards.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
- Intermediate-level proficiency with relevant computer systems and applications.
- Ability to remain immobile for extended periods.
