The Housekeeping Quality Control Lead works as an extension of the on-site management team to routinely walk the venue, audit & evaluate the performance of the cleanliness, communicate areas of deficiencies, and remediate those deficiencies.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Shift: Seasonal (hours are based around events)

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed feedback to management regarding performance of the work.
- Oversee work audits.
- Complete assigned checklists and audits within the venue and return feedback to management.
- Basic housekeeping work.
- Identify, document, and communicate areas of improvement or opportunities for additional work.
- Communicate with both direct staff as well as subcontracted staff to complete janitorial scope of work.
- Work with Project Manager and Asst. Project Manager to develop work plans to provide services in a timely, cost-effective manner and ensure contract provisions are met.
- Respond to client inquiries on behalf of management; discuss and resolve with customer pending complaints/feedback.
- Inform Project Manager of status of work; identify potential issues and recommend appropriate action.
- Keeps Project Manager informed of business issues impacting effectiveness of project; promptly escalates serious issues to Project Manager or Asst. Project Manager.
- Report accidents and property damage in an accurate and timely manner.
Employee Relations and Supervision:
- Works closely with frontline personnel to meet customer requirements; determines training requirements and identifies sources to meet training and development needs.
- Recommend staffing levels; work with Project Manager and HR to hire, train and evaluate staff.
- Understand applicable union contracts and develop effective working relationships with local labor unions.
- Enforce ABM and client policies and procedures through mentoring and coaching of field personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.
- Basic housekeeping knowledge and experience is helpful.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be proactive and self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
- Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge or desire to learn janitorial equipment.
- Intermediate level of Microsoft programs.
- A passion for serving others and helping others to succeed.
- Excellent personal organization skills.
- Ability to use MS Office Suite, smartphones, internet and other job-related applications.
