The Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking a highly trained Board Certified/Board Eligible Functional Neurosurgeon. As the only level one trauma center in Central Florida, Orlando Health has expanded and recently opened a brand-new Neurosciences Institute with Level 4 epilepsy program. The ideal candidate must be fellowship trained in functional neurosurgery, would have experience performing deep brain stimulation, and be interested in growing a functional program that includes a robust volume of both epilepsy and movement disorder cases.
The Neurosciences Institute team consists of 14 Neurosurgeons and over 20 Neurologists working on state-of-the-art equipment including Epilepsy Monitoring Units (EMU), Intraoperative MRI, MR-Guided Focused Ultrasound, multiple robots for lead placement, Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT) therapy, and more! This is a turnkey ready position for a functional neurosurgeon interested in high volume.
