The Sales Consultant at ECC will be responsible for leveraging technical expertise to provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, develop customized solutions, and ensure successful implementation. The Sales Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and driving customer success. ECC connects businesses to better experiences using Audio/Visual (AV), Communication, Electronic Security, Fire Safety, Healthcare, and Managed Services Technology Solutions. You will specialize in systems such as Access Control, AV Systems, Fire Alarm, Intercom, IMPERIUM Jail Control, Nurse Call, Video Surveillance, and much more. As a Sales Consultant, you'll empower organizations throughout your territory to reach their goals through technology including corporate, correctional, educational, government, healthcare, manufacturing, and house of worship facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell Audio/Visual (AV), Communication, Electronic Security, Fire Safety, Healthcare, and Managed Services Technology Systems and Solutions to new and current clients.
- Develop customized solutions based on client requirements and company capabilities.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase the value of ECC solutions to clients.
- Serve as a technical advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices and solution implementation.
- Ensure successful deployment and adoption of solutions, monitoring client satisfaction and managing any issues that may arise.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform solution development.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, providing feedback on product enhancements and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or minimum 2+ years’ experience in related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Consultant or in a similar sales role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand client requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
After excelling in the role of a “Sales Consultant”, the next step in career growth is becoming a “Senior Sales Consultant”. To be considered for this promotion by Management, individuals must have a proven track record of meeting their quota as a “Sales Consultant” for a minimum of one year. Furthermore, they must have a robust pipeline established to handle the increased quota requirements of the “Senior Sales Consultant” position.
