TRC Worldwide’s Building Data Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technology Sales Consultant to drive the sales of our innovative technology solutions, including Digital Twin, Deltek ERP, Building Data Solutions & Software services. This role is focused on providing solutions to asset-intensive facilities across Healthcare, Higher Education, Technology, and Aviation Industries.
As part of the Building Data Solutions Group, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and closing sales that drive digital transformation for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Proactively identify, target, and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories and market segments (e.g., hospitals, airports, educational campuses, etc.).
- Develop and execute a comprehensive lead generation strategy to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Leverage industry knowledge to connect with potential clients, positioning TRC Worldwide as the go-to provider of digital solutions.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Engage with clients to understand their unique operational challenges and requirements.
- Provide tailored solutions utilizing TRC’s Digital Twin, Deltek ERP, and Building Data Solutions to address client pain points and business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Solution Selling & Proposal Development:
- Work closely with internal teams (technical, product, and consulting) to develop and present customized solutions to clients.
- Effectively communicate the value of our solutions by demonstrating ROI, cost savings, and operational improvements.
- Navigate complex sales cycles, negotiating and closing enterprise-level deals that align with both client needs and company goals.
- Collaborate with TRC's technical and consulting teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into client environments.
- Utilize Nexus CAIM and other TRC platforms to deliver data-driven digital twin solutions, integrated with real-time IoT platforms where needed.
Market Research & Insight Generation:
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to effectively position TRC’s solutions.
- Provide feedback and insights to product teams to refine solution offerings and better meet market demands.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by consistently closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Regularly report on sales activities, opportunities, pipeline status, and progress toward meeting quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Collaborate with the client success team to ensure smooth project handovers and client satisfaction post-sale.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technology sales, with a focus on enterprise solutions, digital transformation, or related fields.
- Experience in selling digital solutions like IoT, ERP, Digital Twin, and space management.
- Strong understanding of asset-intensive industries such as healthcare, education, and airports, and their unique operational needs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex technical solutions.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ability to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events.
