RINA is currently recruiting for a Data Analytics Consultant to join its office in Rome within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Mission
The role is at a Consultant level in RINA’s Energy-Asset Integrity Business Line: we are looking for a technical profile who can apply his expertise to support delivery of Asset Integrity consultancy projects, to support the technical team and wider Asset Integrity Innovation projects and capability development, and to support the exploitation of technology and data to enhance our operational performance.
Knowledge
- A strong knowledge of data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence principles, including practical applications.
- Proficiency in programming in languages such as Python / MATLAB / C-Sharp for data processing and automation of tasks.
- A keen problem solver with an analytical mind which you use to promote innovative ideas and thinking.
- High capacity for change and willingness to learn and adopt new concepts.
- Demonstrable practical ability with a methodical and well organized hands-on approach.
- Successful in establishing strong and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to lead, or work within, a supportive and agile team.
Key Accountabilities
The technical areas you will be involved in include, but are not limited to:
- Development of bespoke AI tools that help to optimise asset decision making.
- Asset Integrity projects.
- Integration of intelligent analytics on cloud-based systems and digital twin platforms.
- Assets data management, data processing, and data exploration.
- Support client’s journey into digital transformation by implementation of bespoke hardware or/and software solutions.
- Support / lead the efficient and effective management, analysis and reporting of wider project data in support of consultancy project leads.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to projects from the point of discussing requirements with potential clients, brainstorming solutions, contributing to technical and commercial proposals, carrying out technical work and ultimately delivering innovative solutions to clients with support of colleagues. You will be comfortable extolling the benefits of RINA helping the client to solve their issues, providing technical engineering and project management inputs.
Education
High School Diploma/GED
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical and commercial proposals.
- Effectively apply knowledge to address project requirements, individually or as part of a team.
- Write technical reports.
- Manage projects to deliver to time, cost and quality requirements.
- Development of bespoke AI tools that help to optimise asset decision making.
- Attend relevant technical conferences and networking events.
- Contribute to the production of technical papers and conference presentations.
