The Senior Healthcare Account Manager (FLSA exempt role) isresponsible for managing a portfolio of key strategic clients, building strong relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in account management.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the trusted advisor and main point of contact, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic client accounts.
- Provide strategic guidance and solutions to drive client success and satisfaction.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies to maximize revenue opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to drive client retention and business growth.
- Conduct regular account reviews, assess performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement. Forecast and track key account metrics – reporting revenue trends, and client performance.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, progress reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Address client concerns, issues, and escalations in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems, exceed client expectations, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Create well organized, accurate, and concise material/work documentation for organizational use.
- Provide ongoing training, networking and professional development.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:- Abachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of account management experience is required.
- Healthcare experience is required.
- Experience in the senior living/assisted living industry is required.
- Ability to travel, as needed.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to run and interpret a variety of reports and provide strategic solutions.
- Flexible and adaptable with regard to learning and understanding new technologies.
- High energy with strong initiative, accountability, self-directed and organized.
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented with professional demeanor.
- Ability to deal with stressful situations.
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ PHI and e-PHI only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
- Posesss exceptional analytical skills to utilize in a medical billing environment.
