As the Clinical Leader, your primary duties will involve overseeing and mentoring a team of clinicians. Possession of a valid LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in California is a mandatory prerequisite. Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly consultation meetings for licensed staff in San Diego, CA, US
- Organize monthly clinical leadership meetings and supervisor meetings in a positive workplace environment
- Manage a caseload of clients with a focus on continuous professional growth
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of clinicians
- Maintain management responsibilities while adhering to legal and ethical standards
- Assist in team expansion through recruiting and onboarding with experienced professionals
- Reward team members with compensation for their expertise and commitment to patient care
- Facilitate monthly consultation sessions with licensed staff to ensure client progress
- Schedule and participate in regular clinical leadership and supervisor meetings for effective treatment planning
- Balance a caseload of clients while collaborating with colleagues for impactful client outcomes
- Supervise clinical tasks to support team members and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Assume managerial duties to cultivate a positive and collaborative workplace
- Support team expansion via hiring and onboarding with a focus on team development
- Recognize team members with long-term retention records by compensating for their experience and patient care
Qualifications:
- Counseling youth and loving direct care for 2+ years (required)
- Clinical supervision experience (preferred)
- Prior management experience (preferred)
- Understanding of child development and needs at various stages
- Understanding of youth mental health disorders and ability to support assessments
- Highest Ethical Standards and follow all legal guidelines
- Documentation in a timely way (within policy guidelines)
- Experience working with military families (preferred)
- Experience as an effective outpatient provider (preferred)
- Desire to connect with the team and attend social events (preferred)
- Experience with adults in outpatient care
- Experience with couples in outpatient care (preferred)
- Experience with family therapy and confidence in working with parents collaboratively (required)
- Desire to build leadership skills and work closely with the leadership team
- Desire to lead a group private practice location with a great team
- Valid LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in California
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Profound understanding of legal, ethical, and professional standards
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Team player with strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation: $114,000
