We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an Accounting Manager within our Finance team to help support our Hydraulics business.
So, what will you do as Accounting Manager?
- Lead accounting activities at an international level (U.S., Germany, UK, China, India).
- Leadership role in accounting processes for the branches on an international level.
- Ensure and continually improve the Internal Control Environment.
- Adhere to a system of internal controls at different branches.
- Lead the financial close and reconciliation process, accountable for accuracy and compliance on a global level.
- Continually improve business processes at a global level.
- Ensure that global statutory reporting and tax authority requirements are met.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with FP&A, Business Analytics and Corporate Accounting, addressing questions and reporting needs.
To Be Successful You'll Need
- Post-secondary degree from an accredited University in Accounting, Finance, Business or related; Professional designation (CMA, CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years of managerial experience, experience in working on a global level.
- Experience in financial close, internal controls, internal and external audit management, ad hoc analysis, management reporting, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), taxation (VAT), treasury, working capital, cash flow management and costing on a global level.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and leadership abilities, employee development experience.
