Brief Summary of Work for this Position: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Research Assistant to support ongoing sociological research projects. The candidate will assist in data collection, analysis, and literature reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings.
- Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and academic papers.
- Collaborate with the research team in brainstorming sessions and project meetings.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the research process.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Sociology or a related field (or current enrollment in such a program).
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Days: Flexible
Hours Per Week: 5 hours

Special Instructions to Applicants: Please note, this is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be based on department need with the possibility of continuation. Temporary assignments cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a full 31-day break from employment.
