What You'll Do:
- Shoot and edit high-quality videos and photos that communicate the mission of the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineers.
- Edit long and short-form video projects for social media as needed.
- Organize and assemble footage, incorporating graphics, effects, and audio adjustments to enhance overall video quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of efficiency.
- Remain organized and maintain clear project files and documentation.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in professional videography/photography and editing. (Bachelor's degree in film production, videography, photography, or a related field is preferred.)
- Thorough understanding of remote post-production workflows and media management processes.
- Experience editing quick-turn social media products, as well as long-form story driven content in Premiere Pro.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe After Effects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable in run-and-gun shooting scenarios as a one-man band.
- Strong understanding of image composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent knowledge of camera equipment and technology.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills, a solutions-based attitude, and the ability to work with people with a diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Must have a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Ability to build and manage strong relationships with DoD client.
- Must have a valid passport for at least six months.
- DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
- Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
- Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.
Location Requirements:
The position will primarily work onsite at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
Compensation:
Expected Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
