KPMG is currently seeking a Tax Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:

Assist in advising clients on a full spectrum of corporate and operating partnership tax services, including compliance, planning and research.
Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients, including corporations and operating partnerships.
Participate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience to clients.

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of recent federal tax experience; recent public accounting and/or corporate tax and/or partnership tax experience required.
Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation and/or Master’s in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university.
Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters in various industries.
Experience with ASC 740 and tax provision calculations are preferred.
Excellent research and writing skills.
