JOB SUMMARY:
The Community Banking Coordinator is responsible for diverse business support and administrative duties for a group of Senior Bank Officers in the Retail area of the bank. Works independently on assigned business support/administrative tasks that are complex and highly sensitive in nature, and which supports a Regional Manager, management and leadership. Requires a thorough working knowledge of the Retail Banking organization and general bank policies, programs, and procedures. Consistently gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation and administration of various reports and correspondence.
- Record meeting notes and minutes on a regular basis for BCM, ABCM or other meetings.
- Arranging appointments and meetings on multiple Senior Bank Officer's calendars and subsequently meeting with each officer on a regular basis to keep them apprised of upcoming events on their calendars.
- Answer, route, and/or take messages on phone calls for officers when they are unavailable.
- Build strong relationships with the branch leadership within the regions supported and be able to respond to inquiries and problems on the Bank Officer's behalf.
- Compilation and formatting of reports, charts, and presentations as required for meetings.
- Working on special projects as assigned.
- Responsible for performing general maintenance and follow-up on pending issues.
- Communicate with customers via telephone, face-to-face and written correspondence, using the highest level of service and compliance standards.
- Provide marketing support in the form of prospecting, seminars, and other sales efforts as required.
- Adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry, while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and bank policies and procedures.
- Establish relationships and dialogue with multiple line of business leaders to help with projects and data gathering, adaptability in learning and navigating a variety of internal programs and systems on top of Office proficiency, comfort, and flexibility around multiple forms of communication (text, phone, email, etc.).
- Adhere to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years of experience in Retail Banking preferred.
- 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience required; experience working with multiple Officers preferred.
- Travel within the region is required and on an as-needed basis.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Strong written, verbal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to self-manage with little direction.
- High level of multi-tasking capability, specifically in the manner of managing multiple Officer schedules (minimum of 3), calendars, and requests (occasionally requests with short notice).
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
- May be needed outside of normal business hours for scheduling and calendar coordination.
