Position Summary:
Reporting to the Controller, the Assistant Controller is a key contributor to the accounting & finance function of AmeriPro Health. This is an opportunity to be a member of an ambitious team to help further the growth of a fast-growing healthcare company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly financial close process, including reviewing and preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses, preparation of supporting schedules, variance analyses.
- Mentor and train junior members of the accounting team.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the month end financial close process.
- Review and approve the coding of accounts payable invoices.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow projections.
- Partner with business development to prepare proforma financials to support proposals for new contracts.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages to be distributed to management.
- Partner with the controller to coordinate the annual financial audit, including the preparation of schedules, timely responses to auditor requests and drafting of financial statements and financial note disclosures.
- Partner with finance team in developing annual budgets.
- Assist with the design and implementation of new ERP solution.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years experience minimum.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Accounting experience in healthcare preferred.
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
- Experience with ERP implementation preferred.
- Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Proven track record of improving accounting processes/tools/technology.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
