Radiology Tech / Orthopedic Clinic Setting

Located in a lively community near a large freshwater lake and with over 300 days of sunshine, this role offers the opportunity to work in a brand new hospital (to be constructed within two years) and grow professionally in a supportive environment. As a Radiology Technician, you'll be crucial in performing diagnostic radiography to produce high-quality diagnostic exams, contributing significantly to patient care.
Compensation: $74,000.00 - $100,000.00, Full benefits package including relocation assistance and sign-on bonus of $15,000 for a 2-year commitment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of diagnostic radiography procedures safely and accurately, ensuring high-quality diagnostic outcomes.
- Work closely with the Diagnostic Imaging team to collaborate on patient treatment plans and ensure seamless integrated care.
- Assist in the maintenance of radiographic equipment, ensuring operational standards are met and the equipment functions correctly.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Engage in continuous learning to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in radiographic technology and procedures.
- Provide compassionate care, maintaining respect and privacy for all patients during their procedures.
- Contribute to the transition operations into a new hospital facility, ensuring a smooth enhancement of service delivery in the new environment.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R).
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level certification, or must be obtained within three months of hire.
- Proven experience in radiography, preferably in an orthopedic clinic setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, and equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a radiology department.
- Advanced certification in radiologic technology or related specialties.
- Prior experience in hospital settings, especially in new facility transitions or upgrades.
- Knowledge of patient management software and electronic health records.
- Familiarity with the latest radiological equipment and technology advancements.
