Ultrasound Tech / ARDMS
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Ultrasound Tech looking to bring their expertise to a vibrant and compassionate healthcare organization. This role involves conducting diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a focus on delivering high-quality diagnostic exams in a responsible, safe, and effective manner.
Compensation: $47.00 - $63.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including general abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound exams.
- Operating ultrasound equipment to complete venous and carotid Doppler studies.
- Ensuring all procedures are performed in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintaining high standards of practice that contribute to the organization's goal of high-quality diagnostic exams every time.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best integrated care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Managing the complexities of patient care with professionalism, respecting patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Staying current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Associate in Applied Science - Allied Health Science or equivalent educational qualification.
- Must be registered - ARDMS in abdomen and/or OB/GYN.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology.
- Demonstrable ability to operate ultrasound equipment accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work responsibly and adapt to changing environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- More than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience with both abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound diagnostics.
- Background in handling complex cases and a variety of ultrasound examinations.
- Proven record of professional development in the field of ultrasound technology.
- Strong references from previous employers.
