Surgical Tech

This role involves functioning as a critical part of the surgical team, assisting in intra-operative procedures with top-tier instrumentation and equipment. Compensation: $44,000.00 - $60,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate as a key member of the surgical team, assisting in the execution of surgical procedures.
- Prepare and organize the operating room with necessary equipment and instruments prior to surgeries.
- Ensure all instruments and supplies are accounted for and sterile before and after procedures.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments during surgeries, maintaining an aseptic environment.
- Maintain clear communication with surgeons and nursing staff to facilitate patient care.
- Implement knowledge of various surgical techniques and technologies to enhance procedure efficiency and safety.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent experience (grandfathered staff included).
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends as required by surgery schedules.
- Strong aptitude for maintaining sterility and precision during procedures.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certification or training in specialized surgical technology fields.
- Prior experience in a high-volume surgical or hospital setting.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations efficiently.
- Familiarity with the latest surgical technology and instrumentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various surgical and medical personnel.
