Position Summary:
Responsible for preparation and analysis of annual budget, forecast, and various other regulatory and financial reports. Partners with Accounting team in financial analysis and variance reporting. Makes recommendations to the Director FP&A and VP Finance based on analysis of various operational and regulatory reporting requirements. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.
Your contribution to the team includes:
- Assist the Director FP&A with the financial and strategic planning for the organization.
- Prepare and analyze statutory and regulatory filings including annual UDS report. Interacts with various internal and external sources for data requests, as well as completes the ongoing management of various returns and submissions.
- Responsible for annual cost reporting to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and HCA. Analyzes reports to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinates and completes the preparation of the organization budget in collaboration with budget owners. Prepares quarterly forecasts based on revised business activity levels.
- Designs, develops, and analyzes budget assumptions for revenue and expenses.
- Work collaboratively with Budget owners, Directors, VP’s, and Senior Leadership to facilitate budget review and monitoring. Partners with Accounting team on variance analysis.
- Develop and prepare financial and budget management reports, revenue reports, and business narratives.
- Creates financial proformas that support the business case analysis for new product or site development.
- Lead budget system updates and/or implementation of a more robust budget platform that meets needs of the business.

- Attend staff meetings, in-service meetings and participate in organization committees and task force activities as required.
Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from a four-year college or university and three to five years relevant experience.
- Advanced ability to operate computers and related software for Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software. Experience with MIP software desired.
- Maintain current registration/licensure as appropriate.
